There will be a first-time training and a Refresher Training in the use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator), that is located in each church, and will be made available after a mass you attend on whatever day/time is suitable for you. This training will take an hour or less, and will also include key points in performing CPR. Immediate use of the AED along with CPR is critical in the treatment of sudden cardiac arrest and other such emergencies in which the heart quits beating normally, and must be initiated within minutes.
